The yellow bugger is rentable by the hour, seats 16 and comes with everything you need for a good time: driver, bar, fridge, 40-inch flat panel television, CD & DVD player, satellite radio, surround sound system, and, of course, ever essential strobe lights (just in case you weren’t getting enough attention rolling down Sunset Blvd.).

To sweeten the ride, the Dolce Group will hook you up with VIP reservations at any of their restaurants, like Ketchup, Geisha House, Bella and Dolce, also guaranteeing your group access to Les Deux (if non-subtle entrances are more your thing).

Unlike real school buses, this one encourages you to BYOB, but you can also take advantage of The Short Bus’s concierge service which for an additional fee will grant practically any request. Which means if your bus party requires Tanqueray Tonics with Sloppy Joes & Tater Tots, served by, say, waitresses in skimpy school-girl uniforms, this is the bus to go to.

All this and no homework.

Once you attain a certain stature in life, there are two things that no longer make sense—cheap liquor and expensive gas stations.

So there’s obvious appeal to the idea that you could turn cheap liquor into cheap gas in the time it takes you to down an ice-cold martini (made with the good stuff). Say hello to your new personal gas pump, the EFuel100 MicroFueler.

Rather than waiting in line on a smoggy street corner for the privilege of being gouged mercilessly, roll right up to the EFuel100 residing in your driveway (or garage, or basically anywhere with a power outlet and a water hookup) to fill any gas-burning auto with your homemade batch of ethanol. Just pour in the mix of sugar feedstock and yeast—or the residual gin from your Bootlegger’s Ball ‘05 gathering—and after a few days, fill ‘er up. The MicroFueler makes 35 gallons a week, each gallon costs you about $1, and your car will actually enjoy a little more power (which is why IndyCar racers use ethanol).

Sure, you can brag about the purported environmental benefits of your newfound gasoline independence, but there’s also a certain satisfaction in using that gas money you saved somewhere else.

Like the bar.

EFuel100 MicroFueler, $9,995, now available for pre-order online

As our society is continuously seeking new ways to make oneself feel better with medical procedures, cosmetic surgery - a self identification of realizing one’s place in a society changing and defined by just those who are not sure who they are. It is a collective consciousness, “it wouldn’t be so bad if you could both be blindfolded.” But this piece turns the mirror away from the rest of the world and directly into the eyes of the person, the ordinary person behind political leaning, social status, wealth, desires or fears, but towards the heart of the matter, as it is put in the film, “matching up what’s in here with what’s out there.” What is in the what is a relationship between the creations of the mind and the creations of others. It is an echo-less hallway that leaves one on the side of the light, left only to look away from the darkness. I shoot people in this hat. Chaos. Control. Chaos. Here’s something we love to see. Artists fusing creativity in different genres and exposing it to the individual cultural nuances and idiosyncrasies that flavor this track to a nice speachy hue. Rock it. Rap it. Sing it. Jam it. Just keep playin’ that wild jive.

Here’s something we love to see. Artists fusing creativity in different genres and exposing it to the individual cultural nuances and idiosyncrasies that flavor this track to a nice speachy hue. Rock it. Rap it. Sing it. Jam it. Just keep playin’ that wild jive.
It can also be used mid-sentence to mark a merely interrogative phrase, where it functions similarly to a comma, such as in the single sentence “Where shall we go? and what shall we do?”, but this usage is increasingly rare. The question mark is not used for indirect questions. The question mark character is also often used in place of missing or unknown data. It can also be used in place of a period.

As a protector of our fair city, you consider it your duty to monitor the formation of all new empires.

So look alive as the new Steven Alan shop quietly invades Robertson Boulevard, the first of three L.A. outposts set to open in 2008.

You’ve likely seen the slim, rumpled shirts—often striped or plaid, looking subtly lived in, even when new—situated in Fred Segal like beacons of reason amid the more ridiculous gear. Inside the label’s rustic minimalist new store, you’ll find more well cut, wearable staples that bridge the gap between the white-T and the black tie. You’ll want to seek out the jackets, skinny-but-not-too-skinny ties and suits that are crisp but casual enough to wear with your favorite pair of broken in Chuck Taylors. (Best-dressed always—even at a family barbeque on a Sunday evening.)

Take a look inside the glass case for vintage cufflinks and watches, and pay mind to the cozy courtyard out back, where you might tip one back at a store event soon.

Think of it as your duty to lead this new empire in style.
